Although patients are encouraged to rest during non-treatment periods, exercise is recommended and walks around the picturesque suburb of Darling Point are enjoyable. Take a short stroll to the harbour foreshores - Rushcutters Bay Park and the Cruising Yacht Club with its fine yachts tied to the marinas, or McKell Park at the end of Darling Point Road. The large, comfortable reception rooms, balconies and grounds of the centre provide a homely atmosphere in which to relax and read, or participate in arranged activities.
Of course, visitors are more than welcome, but should check with patients as to their treatment times.
